A very powerful handset manufactured by HTC, Leaded the marked of smart phones when released and till now, many (if not all) of the HTC HD2 users love this handset and keep t working even if they purchased new one.
For Myself, I loved that phone for it's quite good processor of 1GHz, 512 of RAM, and the large screen of 4.3 inchs.
you can find many models beat it from the technical specs and screen aspects, however, you will not find a model have similar technical support from developers.
HD2 with stock windows Mobile 6.5
If you decided to visit XDA developers website, you will be surprized from the amount of ready SW images for that model.
It comes from the factory with Windows Mobile 6.5 which is fair, but if you want to let that handset show you what it can do, you have to root it and install Android image on it, you will be surprised like I did, I have tried to install many Android Open source projects on my HD2, that was very interesting to have a device that yoou may use to try any new version of android, not like those with a phone limited to it's stock OS.
HD2 with Android Ginger bread ROM
It is a perfect choice for you if you want to be an Android developer and need a handset to test your applications.
I have tried Android Ginger Bread, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean. they all worked fine.
check that website that made a library of the cooked ROMs for HTC HD2 at XDA forum.
